Dear NEWCA members,

	Thank you for your participation in the 2006 Chinese New Year celebration 
party last Saturday.  I hope you had a good time.  Many pictures taken at the 
event has been posted on the NEWCA website: http://newca.org.
	I am pleased to announce that Prof. Paul (Baodong) Liu has been elected 
by the majority votes to be the 2006/07 Executive Vice President of the Northeast 
Wisconsin Chinese Association.  I am confident that Prof. Liu's leadership will 
take the Association to a new level.  Please congratulate him when you get a chance.
	I am grateful for the help many of you provided during my one-year tenure.
Without your help, this year's events would have been impossible.  In the soon 
coming Final Report, I will provide detailed budget summary and acknowledge the 
help from many friends.
	This Saturday at 7:00 p.m., the Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra will have a 
very special concert: "East meets West".  It will feature a Chinese Pipa soloist, 
Gao Hong.  For more info, see http://www.oshkoshsymphony.org/. 
	The direction to Alberta Kimball Auditorium is:  HWY 41 to exit# 119. 
At the exit traffic light go east on HWY 21 for less than one mile.  At the first 
traffic light turn right into N. Westfield.  Follow it to the first stop sign and 
turn left.  The auditorium is a few hundreds yards on your right (big parking lot).
